The function of this website is to be learn about the different things that it takes to make a website. How to choice colors that makes easy for everyone that may not be able to see certain colors to be able to see all of the text no matter what. Also how to make sure that you keep website organized so that it is easy to find things.

Unit 1

At the start of unit in the first couple of weeks of the class we learned what needs to be done with colors to make sure that the flow together. Also make sure to use a color for the text that stands out from the background colors. We did a part of the unit about colors and how you can use colors from a picture and put it google docs. We learned how to get the html and put it into google docs and get the same color that was from the picture. We learned about how to sure colors that will work for anyone no matter their disability. Also make the the text size is where people can see it and also make it clear if there is something that you can click on in the text on a website. We also learned hoe to make sure that stuff was organizied and not all over the place by but topic that fit togetherto together so people people can click on and be able to find what they need in there website. By also making sure that what is under that a topic fits that topic and is not just there.

Unit 2

Creating Links learn that if you make jump to links that make it easy for people that may not be able to use mouse to jump around the website. For creating a data table I learned that in the code for the table you can make that text be different color but you can also make it where there is a different style of table. Make different HTML files made it where their was like folders that we could later go back and add. But we did have to add code on everyone of them before we uploaded it to c-panel. The HTML list made where there was bullet point on the websites that was in a order. The HTML video we had to down load all of the file to the computer and then had to add code for every single video and put the code under every unit that we had a video for.

Unit 3

Cascading style sheets make it so that rules are put together and make it where you can make it where you can change different things, not everything. Depending on the colors that you pick will depend on what message you want to give the viewer, because each color gives off different emotions. Typography is where we worked on different types of text and how to control the typography font and size. The box method is where we created boxes around each unit and etc. That made it easier for people to know where things are on your website. An ID is where you can control just one thing and not change everything, whereas a class is where you control a group. Lastly, page layout techniques are where we can control where elements are placed on each page of the website.
